Chimera Biotec GmbH is proud to make an active contribution to environmental protection and to secure the future of our children. With this in mind, we have decided to support Eppendorf’s “GEO protects the rainforest” project by donating our epPoints.

At Chimera Biotec, we understand the immense importance of rainforests for the global climate, biodiversity and the sustainable future of our planet. Rainforests play a key role in regulating the world’s climate, storing gigantic amounts of CO₂ and providing habitat for a wide range of plant and animal species. However, these valuable ecosystems are under massive threat. Protecting the rainforests is therefore not only an ecological imperative, but also a responsibility towards future generations.

The decision to donate our collected ePoints to this project is a logical extension of our corporate philosophy. As a biotech company, we see it as our duty not only to promote innovative and sustainable solutions in science, but also to actively take measures to ensure the preservation of our environment. The protection of the rainforest is a central building block for the preservation of natural resources, which should also offer future generations a healthy and livable environment.

Through our partnership with Eppendorf and our targeted support of the GEO rainforest project, we are doing our part to preserve nature for the future. Donating our ePoints is an uncomplicated but effective way of putting our ethical and ecological values into practice. For us, this means not only protecting the environment in the here and now, but also investing in the future of children who should grow up in an intact world worth living in.

All donations are transferred in full by Eppendorf to GEO schützt den Regenwald e.V.. The money is used by the association directly for the project selected by Eppendorf.
